As a child, I know alot of you must have remembered playing serious amounts of arcade style video games. One of my all time favourite games when I was a kid was NBA Jam and NBA Hangtime. Dopeness. I was just thinking back at it a couple days ago when I was playin the Super Nintendo, that some of the tracks on the games are ill haha.

Something Foul.
God's son is back with another instant classic. Every time this man touches the mic, it's inevitable. Even though we're all waiting for the next "Stillmatic", Nas remains legit and continues to impress.
I've been bumping the latest NS album pretty hard lately. Here's a soulful track off of it called Testify.

Super Mario 3.
Kanye, at the American Movie Awards, in what appears to be, a raccoon tail. I'm not the biggest retro kid fan and it was hard enough seeing dudes walk around with bandanas around their necks claiming it was "swag". Rodents is the new hot look. I'm gonna bust out my Raccoon Tail hat and see how many digits I get.
The only man in my opinion who can pull off this look other than Kanye is Mario himself...

NEW TELE
this is my new tele, the GORGEOUSLY STUNNING Samsung LN40A750 which is 40 inches of pure bliss. It has basically everything you would need for a good videogame/movie setup...4 HDMI, 2 Component, 1 Composite, 1 Optical (audio), 1 VGA & 1 DVI port...now for the GOOD stuff, 50,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, insane amount of customizable features for the white balance, hue, black levels, etc., entertainment video settings like movie, game, or sports and a whole wack of other ones I'll barely use. Aesthetics wise it looks amazing, the floating glass around the screen like the Sony Bravias are known for, and a slight line of red under the glass which is pretty cool. Either way this is a premium tele which is sold as high as 2399$ or more, I got it for 1699$ (2 gnotes after taxes...fucking taxes) but it was well worth it...just look at this thing...it's BEAUTIFUL...anyway enough ranting. This is my new tele...if the bitches don't like it...they're fucking skanks! lol...I know you all want one now =P
Wednesday's wayback playback vol.1?

ANYWAY this is one of my all time favourtie tunes PERIOD. I figured I posted a few hip-hop tracks already, so I might as well hit you with my other love which is reggae. take a listen.

Daily Picks
This will always be my shit. J. Dilla R.I.P. Crazy how I used to think that was actually him in the video, it was actually his brother. Damn.

It's a celebration bitches.
Okay
so Yeezy's album wasn't that great in my opinion. But Yeezy's that guy who is an MC regardless. He master's the ceremony and he did that at the American Music Awards last night. Feel the 808's and his heartbreak.

wayback playback
alright so I've been going on a bit of an 80's craze lately, so here are a few of the best songs of that time, although I wasn't born in that time (90s music is better anyway...) the 80s had some classic tunes, so here's a bit of a tribute to some of my favourites.
Afro Samurai: Cartoon Cocaine
I'm in no way, shape, or form, a big fan of any Japanese anime or cartoon shit since I was a "likkle yute". Dragonball Z was the shit tho and you can you know what my dragon balls if you think not. If you havn't watched Afro Samurai, you definitely need to peep it. Samuel L Jackson as a samurai just is ill no matter how you slice it. The whole season is on DVD right now and I definitely copped. The soundtrack of the series was done by RZA of Wu Tang. If you like Samurai swords, karate, and mainly violence/ action, check this show out.
Killa Bees on Attack!
G.O.O.D Music, and we do this
Common Sense, with a new ill track produced by none other than the legendary J Dilla. J Dilla is hip hop, you already know. This one is called I've been pimpin. Chi town stand up. Common is just one of those bright artists in a depleted roster of rappers.
Nostalgia...
Common just unleashed his new website as well, it's quite exceptional. Check it HERE

I definitely would've shot him too
another jokes skit from RC with the six flags guy...geez I hated those commercials =|

daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
One of my favourite skits on RC lol I think that it being sideways makes it even more hilarious...on a side note I really couldn't find a version that had it right side up and with the original song, a lot of tools have made remixes and failed horribly...EPIC FAIL.
lmao...this little thing
hilarious intel commercial parody I saw a few days ago, WELL DONE whoever made this =P
That's gonna leave a mark.
There's something just irresistibly funny about stupid injuries. My dude had to be Ronaldinho with a cart wheel throw in and shit. All I have to say is, young man, you got knocked the f*** out. If that was my son, there would be a football brawl right there and then, word to my soccer hooligans out there.
Just a Little Bit
New leak from Drizzy himself via October's Very Own. This one is called Little Bit (remix) and it has a unique sound and is off of his latest mixtape So Far Gone. It features a remix of Lykke Li's original track Little Bit. She's an artist out of Sweden with a dope style. Check it out yourself.
"The pressures on. Both hearts beat like a metronome, both in sync like a Justin song...feels so right, but it's just so wrong. I wonder what my world bout, when niggas that I know try and take my girl out, and her friend's say I ain't the one to go for. She just jealous cause you always get approached more. Oh Well, tell her fall back, tell her call back, tell her to get a man that ain't cheatin on her ass with a girl I know, ye, tell her all that."

hot song I heard today, definitely worth a listen. He collaborates with GLC, another hype artist on his G.O.O.D music label. check it out.
TUESDAY'S TURNING BACK TIME VOL.2
A classic video, but an even more classic song. I could only find the edited version with the real video...but if you don't already know the lyrics to this song...YOUR ASS NEEDS A BEATING. WU-TANG FOREVER!!!

Shaq Fu..
Don't mess with Shaq Fu...Period. T-Mac getting that grade 5 getting pushed into the sandbox type ish. Shaq just said, pick on someone you're own size...or bigger.
Another vid of Shaq going ballistic on Brad Miller. Dude didn't even do anything! haha It was all Oak.

IRON CLAW: The Legend Of CB4
Chris Bosh is oficially hilarious. If you havn't heard anything about him and his online comedically genius videos, he's challenging Baron Davis of the Los Angeles Clippers to a viral video showdown. Here's his first entry that had me rolling. Cabbie coming through with the cameo.

you fight bad guys right?
here's the first few minutes of the movie, I'm just going on a little fanboy rant so I can tell you the prices of the movie...they'll be approx. these prices according to the MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price)
$27.96 on DVD
$39.95 on Blu-Ray (people need to stop spelling it BLUE-ray...that's NOT CORRECT...tools.)
and last but not least for those who want to take it on the go with their PSP will have to fork out $24.94 for the UMD.
all in all I'd say those prices are pretty good, considering how epic this movie looks...okay fanyboy rant is terminated.
pretty freaking sweet
I'm pretty sure everyone is familiar with one of Capcom's most successful survivor-horror series' RESIDENT EVIL, and if all the games and live-action films weren't enough, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is bringing to us a CGI true-to-it's-roots type of movie for RE. This movie will take place 7 years after the raccoon city events of RE2, so you know what that means right? Our good friend Leon S. Kennedy will be making a reappearance as well as Claire Redfield both of whom are from previous RE titles. I'm pretty stoked for this movie just because the games were sick, and the live-action movies weren't bad...anyway enough rambling, this awesome looking movie is slated for a December 30th, 2008 release.
TUESDAY'S TURNING BACK TIME
Alright folks so here's a segment I'm going to try and do weekly, an old school tune of any genre each tuesday. This week's is one of my favourite by imo one of the BEST emcees of all time Nas, and this one is called "the message" with one of the best lines to ever be in a song..."I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death". CHECK IT OUT

Uggs
Step it up.
Step up your denim. I know I did. Rockin' denim shirts with khakis, corduroy, chinos. Just don't wear it with denim. Makin Jan Ma are the producers of this material.
Shit is jokes.
This shit is jokes. Somebody's rendition of a Lil Weezy and Kanye West track. " In my videos I'm on PCP, and my head is the shape of a TV Screen". Rest in peace to J. Dilla who is one of the dopest beat makers out there!

Can't Believe It
The remix sounded much better than the original in my opinion. Justin Timberlake is officially on the auto-tune roster. Listen here
Heartless Video.
If you haven't already seen it on the thousands of other blogs that have posted it, here's your chance. To Each His Own presents Kanye's official video for Heartless. I'm feelin the cartoon vibe. Kanye isn't one to shy away from something different. The album releases Nov. 25, so mark it down on you're calenders and chill.

Friday's Rewind
Old school funky baby making, cool music that just makes you want to move you're feet. Call me old fashioned, then ask you're pops about these tunes that when they reminisce of the days when men would spit the real gentleman's game to ladies...just kick back and chill son.

Wear Leather Peacoats like the Russian Mafia.
Just watch the video. You'll understand why I posted it.
Puffy Combs
I WAS RAISED ON THE DAIRY BITCH!
Will Sasso had to have been probably the FUNNIEST damn person on MADtv this is one of my favourites.
speaking of Kanye...
Imo this is pretty dope, it's her interpretation of some of Ye's songs that leaked off 808s & heartbreak (scheduled for release Nov. 25/08!) it's HOT and def. worth a listen!
old song fresh mix
you gotta love the Caribbean flavour on this joint, this tune just makes you want to bob your head to the beat, check it out.
I turned to touch her head and she was gone...
A little late to post it, it's been about a week since it was out but this song is FIRE, pretty much anything with Talib is certified greatness so take a listen.

This is my shit pt. 3
Probably my favorite Kanye West track off of 808's & Heartbreaks. KiD CuDi's that dude, regardless of all the smack Con's be talking. Check it out for what it's worth. Download here
Can't be my lover...
A big tune from the insanely talented John Legend and the original rude bwoy, Buju B. Can't be my lover, check it out. This was produced by Supa Dups of Black Chiney Sound Crew.

Is he "The Answer" for Detroit.
Yes, I'm sure you've all heard. The Answer aka Allen Iverson now returns to the East after being traded to Detroit in exchange for Chauncey Billups and Antonio Mcdyess. I think AI is still in top form and can obviously do some serious damage, but Chauncey had a chemistry and understanding with this team and he ran it smoothly. I'm excited to see what Billups will do for Denver tho and what he can do with Melo. The NBA season is looking pretty good right now. Kick back, open a brew and watch some games with the lady. Or better yet, get you're lazy ass up and go to a game ya dig?

LETS GO RAPTORS!
This is my new anthem. 3-0 and let's keep moving. The Raptors defense definitely looks like it's a big improvement from last season. CB4 and JO seem to be getting better and better together. Calderon is holding down his well deserving job as starting point guard. As of now, we're ranked number one in the Eastern Conference...Chea let's go.

Movie Recognition: Paid in Full
One of my favourite gangster movies. Film follows the American dream mentality and stays true to it's nature. Ace Boogie (Wood Harris) is forced to deal with the 1980's drug scene in order to survive but begins to feel conscience of his actions. Money Mitch (Mekhi Phifer) is the cool kid who gets love from everybody and is flashy and fresh. Rico (Cam'ron) is a grimey cold blooded killer who will do anything for money. If you like a story that takes you through the motions, this is the movie for you. Deceit, Drugs, and Money. The American Dream.
This is why he goes by King James
Lebron James is a straight up joker. All of his Nike commercials have made me laugh and with the latest ad, he collaborates with Nicole Scherzinger to introduce his new kicks, the Lebron VI. "Baby, I know i ain't perfect...Close, but I ain't"
Nike presents After Six with Lebron James featuring Nicole Scherzinger

Don't Vote...
This has got to be one of the most star studded and funny election campaign ads in history. Obama is definitely no d-list celebrity and has the support of all of his celebrity peers lol. Brilliant ad that can reach out to even some of the most ignorant people. " What you do inside voting booth is a secret...I like to make hand relief, nice"
Why oh why did Em and Dre let this one get away =|
All I know is this dude has been blowing up a lot lately and his tunes are sick, a song that has a song cry instrumental AND Ye sound bites is certified greatness...obviously this doesn't disappoint, go get em Quo!

Enough of the introductions though here's a tune I heard the other day, it's a tribute to the all time classic "Zapp and Roger" from none other than Tony Starks himself...introducing the ghostface killah!
